In June, I’m going to BritMums Live!, a conference for parent bloggers. There. I said it.
Eight months in and I still find it weird thinking of myself as a mum. Blogging has become more than a little maternity leave hobby. In fact, it’s got well out of hand.
Sponsoring me to attend BritMums Live! (and fuelling my mummy blogging problem) is reusable nappy brand Bambino Mio. Remember I took on their miosolo challenge a few weeks ago?
Well, it turns out that we decided we’re the perfect match for each other. I fall head over heels for a gorgeous cloth bum and they like this little blog enough to sponsor my conference ticket, journey and accommodation for the event.
I’ll be talking about them and their innovative, eco-friendly, utterly beautiful products in the lead up to the big weekend.
In the meantime, I’m just letting you know about the competition Bambino Mio is running with Brother Maxx on their Facebook page. There are three prizes each worth over £100 up for grabs:
2 x miosolo, 3 x mioboost, 160 x liners, 750g miofresh nappy sanitiser, 60 x miowipes, 3 x Baby Bibs, One-Touch 3-in-1 Digital Thermometer and a Ray Digital Bath & Room Thermometer.
I’m really looking forward to meeting other bloggers at BritMums Live! so I’m joining in with Stepford Wifey’s Meet and Greet…

Twitter ID: @AdeleJK
Height: 5ft6
Hair: Long, almost black, and frizzy – I mean, uh, curly
Eyes: Dark, dark, dark brown
Likes: folk music, musicals, molasses by the spoonful, the Vampire Diaries (it’s so inexcusably bad, I know), box set marathons, vidding (watching not making – yet), the British Library, and smoking pipes (though these days I only look at them).
Dislikes: reality TV culture, Top Gear, dubstep, bare legs in winter (I get cold looking at them), size zero ideals, objectification of women in advertising, and peanut butter chicken (I’m still not sure I forgive my mother for cooking this when I was a child).

If you’re going to BritMums Live!, see you there. Come say hello.

Well done Adele, super news. See you there. Mich x
Thanks Mich. It would be lovely to see you. I love your Disqus tag line, by the way.
Gorgeous pic Adele! Hope to see you there if I am able to make it
Hope you can make it, Tanya. It would be great to meet you.
Wow great! Hope to see you there. I bought my ticket ages ago. This will be my first evetn. So I’m come along and have a walk about. Any suggestions on how to get the most out my day. I’ll most likely attend on the Saturday.
Other than the MADs and Blog Camp Bristol, this is my first blogger event so I don’t know that I have suggestions, really! I would love to meet you though. We should exchange numbers (privately) and make sure to find each other for a drink. I’m there both days. x
Fab blog am sending a huge thanks to Stepford Wifey for hosting this meet and greet because it’s introducing me to some gems!
Well done on the sponsorship and hope to see you at Britmums!
I’m off to check you out. I’d heard mention of you before (obviously because of the similar name). It’s about time I saw you in the cyber-flesh. Hope to meet you at Britmums too!
I saw you at BlogCamp but never said hi so will remedy that in June (don’t think I’ll ever make it to a SouthWestMums meet up unless I organise one closer my way!) x x
Do it! We’ll come. x
I would be willing to put my twelve year old back in nappies for a sponsored ticket to this event!!! No? Ok…..
Best comment!
Hi Adele,
Just popping over from the “meet and greet”. Gotta love cloth nappies, right? Our stash is still quite small (5 month old who is already over 20lbs and a heavy wetter means we’ve had to work hard to find something absorbent and roomy enough for him!) but it’s so easy to get addicted, isn’t it!
Hi Amanda, lovely to “meet” you. I’ll hopefully see you at Britmums Live. Between cloth nappies and baby slings, there’s definitely a lot of baby gear to get hooked on!
