I admit I was a little hesitant about reviewing compression hosiery when Daylong got in touch with me. My misconception took me back to my uni days doing care work for older people and even though the word “stylish” came up I just wasn’t sure I was “there” yet.

As various pregnancy discomforts in my lower back and thighs kicked in – and I discovered *gasp* spider veins – I thought, well I might as well give them a go! Now, I’m not at the swollen ankle and achy leg stage yet so I can’t fully speak to the benefits of Solidea Wonder Model Maman maternity tights but so far so good!

They were a bit of a faff to put on the first time but then they’re supposed to be firm so they do their work. By the second time, I’d got the knack so that became a non-issue. Daylong sells a range of application and removal aids if you need the extra help to them on your own. The bump support was really welcome and I didn’t feel like I was specialised hosiery. I just felt glam and ready to go out for our anniversary dinner.

They were also cozy on a pretty cold night out. It’s suddenly Autumn, after all. They’re good and solid too. These girls aren’t about to ladder on you, even if you’re as clumsy as I am.
